Yotam PolizerYotam Polizer is the Global CEO of IsraAID, Israel’s leading humanitarian NGO. Yotam oversees IsraAID’s global operations, strategy, and partnerships across 15 countries, including the organization’s ongoing emergency response to the Ukraine crisis – its largest-scale relief effort to date. Over the course of eleven years at IsraAID, Yotam has built and led programs responding to some of the world’s most pressing humanitarian crises. Yotam started at IsraAID, leading programs in Japan after the devastating 2011 earthquake and tsunami, subsequently launching emergency responses in the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan, Sierra Leone during the 2014 Ebola crisis, Nepal following the 2015 earthquake, and Greece and Germany during the 2015 Middle Eastern refugee crisis. In 2021, Yotam and partners led the safe evacuation of 167 people at-risk from Afghanistan, including activists, judges, cyclists, members of the Afghan Girls Robotics Team, and more, whose lives were threatened by the Taliban takeover.

Yotam has 15 years’ experience in education, humanitarian aid, and international development. He became IsraAID’s co-CEO in 2017 and Global CEO in 2019.
