Ophelie NamiechOphelie Namiech, Managing Director & Senior Advisor in the humanitarian-development nexus at Mindset-PCS, is a driven professional and social entrepreneur with 15 years of experience working in the fields of diplomacy, international development, and humanitarian action with UN agencies, international NGOs, and, more recently, the private sector. Ophelie is passionate about many topics, but primarily: humanitarian-development nexus and localization of aid; gender mainstreaming, gender-based violence and social norms; community resilience in fragile and complex environments; and resilience innovation, access to humanitarian/development markets and scale strategies, and localization of innovation. More recently, she has been exploring the nexus between climate resilience, sustainable livelihoods, and gender.

After more than 10 years working with the UN and the international non-profit sector, including 6+ years in Sub-Saharan Africa, in 2019 she established an innovative advisory company, Mindset-PCS, which offers People-Centered Solutions to organizations and companies seeking to enhance their social impact in international development, and in humanitarian and peacebuilding settings. After only two years of operations, clients and partners include: 10+ international, national, and local NGOs; UN agencies (UNICEF, UNDP, UNHCR, FAO); Google; 150+ social impact startups; global and local innovation accelerators and labs; social impact investors; and donors – with activities in 26 countries.

Ophelie holds a BA in political science and public law from Science Po (France), a Master’s in International Law (LLM) from the University of Amsterdam, and a Master of International Security Policy from SIPA, Columbia University, NYC.
