Global Social Entrepreneurship, Jewish Roots

WATCH: Mexican Jew Daniel Lubetzky, CEO and Founder of KIND, wants us to "think with AND"

“Thinking with ‘and’ is what enabled KIND the business to say, why can’t we find a way to make this both tasty AND healthy AND have a social impact AND be financially sustainable? The way that ‘and’ philosophy works it that you question false paradigms… why is it that I’m assuming that I can’t achieve both objectives at the same time?”

At the recent Social Innovation Summit in Washington, D.C., we were blown away by this talk by KIND CEO and Founder Daniel Lubetzky, a self-proclaimed “Mexican Jewish lawyer” whose accomplishments include the founding of multiple NGOs and social impact-oriented business ventures, including KIND.

Watch as he shares with the attendees of the Summit – social entrepreneurs, corporate and non-profit professionals, and philanthropists of all walks of life – the Jewish family heritage that led him to pursue ventures that “build bridges between people.”
