Dvora Joseph Davey

Dvora is an Infectious Disease Epidemiologist with extensive experience in the design, management and evaluation of HIV prevention and sexual, reproductive health programs. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She lives in Cape Town, South Africa where she is an Honorary Associate Professor in Epidemiology at the University of Cape Town. Dvora’s leads epidemiologic and implementation science studies on sexually transmitted infections, HIV prevention and treatment among pregnant and breastfeeding women and their families in South Africa and in the Southern Africa region. Dvora has been on the board of the Jim Joseph Foundation since 2006 where she supports the Research & Learning Committee for JJF funded grants and strategy. Dvora holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of California Los Angeles and a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University.
